Now Available for its 25th Anniversary: Watermark

Texas Tech University Press together with the Diasporic Vietnamese Artists Network (DVAN) is proud to announce the release of Watermark: Vietnamese American Poetry & Prose, edited by Barbara Tran, Monique Truong, and Khoi Luu!

This special 25th anniversary edition is now available for purchase and represents the seminal anthology of Vietnamese American literature. Originally published in 1998, this updated edition contains a new foreword from pioneering scholar Isabelle Thuy Pelaud, along with the inclusion of new voices such as Nam Le, Anvi Hoàng, and Vinh Nguyen, while still boasting some of the most innovative contemporary Vietnamese American writers, such as Truong Tran, lê thị diễm thúy, and Dao Strom.

Watermark explores thematic and stylistic territory previously overlooked in other such collections, which have traditionally focused on war. Additionally, Watermark uses poetry, fiction, and experimental forms to venture further into the intricacies of the Vietnamese American psyche. Contact TTUP or your local bookseller to obtain your own copy of this phenomenal collection.
